1. What we collect
When you use WorkBridge we may collect: account details (name, email, phone), profile information (resume, work history, skills, expected compensation), company information (for employers), referral activity (link clicks, signups, hire outcomes — no payment or financial data is involved), and technical data (IP address, browser user agent) for security and fraud prevention.
2. How we use it
- To operate your account and match candidates with relevant jobs
- To let employers review applications and search candidate profiles you've made searchable
- To track referral attribution and hire outcomes
- To send transactional emails (application updates, invites, password resets)
- To detect fraud and enforce our Terms of Service
3. Resume and profile visibility
Your resume and profile are visible to employers only if your candidate profile is marked "searchable," or when you apply directly to a job. You can turn off searchability at any time from your profile settings.
4. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Your profile/resume is shared only with employers as described above. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the security of the Platform.
6. Data retention
We retain account and application data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.
7. Security
Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing. We use HTTPS in production and restrict access to production data to authorized personnel only.
8. Your rights
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time from your account settings or by contacting us via the Contact page.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
10. Contact
For privacy questions or data requests, reach us via our Contact page.
