Technology & Transformation- SAP- Senior Consultant- SAP FPSL- Mumbai • Job requisition ID : 106075  • Location: Mumbai • Entity: Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP  The Team   Enterprise technology must do much more than keep the wheels turning; it is the engine that drives functional excellence and the enabler of innovation and long-term growth. Learn more about ET&P   Your work profile   - Lead functional discovery and workshops for order management processes, rules, and integrations. - Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements and acceptance criteria. - Analyze current state processes and identify improvement opportunities applicable to the future OMS model. - Partner with architects and integration teams to clarify design impacts and dependencies. - Support UAT planning and execution, including clarifying test scenarios, expected outcomes, and sign-off criteria. - Drive end-to-end traceability of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle. - Mentor junior BAs and support readiness of business SMEs.   Key skills required   - - 8–10 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Reporting, or SAP Finance transformations. - 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FPSL implementation, support, or enhancement projects. - Strong understanding of Insurance business processes, including premiums, claims, investments, reserves, and policy lifecycle. - Working knowledge of Ind AS ; Experience in validating FPSL accounting outputs, journal entries, subledger balances, and reconciliation with General Ledger. - Understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance integration and related finance architecture. - Ability to translate accounting and reporting requirements into FPSL configuration and solution design. - Experience in SIT, UAT, defect resolution, go-live support, and finance process testing. - Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work closely with Finance, Actuarial, Risk, and IT teams. - Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent preferred; exposure to Ind AS 117 / IFRS 17 and SAP TRM or SAP PaPM is an added advantage.   Qualifications   ·      Bachelor or Above ·      Willingness to travel for short and long term durations. ·      Strong communication skills (written & verbal).   Location and way of working   - Base location: Mumbai - This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work. - Hybrid is our default way of working.
