T&T| Customer| S&S| Mobile Application Dev| Senior Consultant | Hyderabad • Job requisition ID : 110894  • Location: Hyderabad • Entity: Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP  The team Customer has to do much more than keep the wheels turning; it is the engine that drives functional excellence and the enabler of innovation and long-term growth. Learn more about: Customer Your work profile - We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer / Mobile Technical Lead with strong expertise in Flutter, Native Android, and Native iOS application development. - The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications across both Android and iOS platforms. - The candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership, defining mobile application architecture, driving development best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions. Required skills Mobile Application Development - Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter, Android, and iOS. - Develop cross-platform applications using Flutter and Dart with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability. - Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin / Java and Android SDK. - Develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift / Objective-C and iOS SDK. - Build reusable and modular mobile components that can be leveraged across multiple applications. - Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, backend services, third-party platforms, and cloud services. - Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces aligned with UI/UX and accessibility standards. Mobile Architecture & Technical Leadership - Define and implement scalable mobile application architecture across Flutter, Android, and iOS. - Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and frameworks based on business and technical requirements. - Establish mobile development standards, coding guidelines, design patterns, and best practices. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers. - Conduct code reviews and architecture/design reviews. - Identify technical risks and provide appropriate solutions for complex technical challenges. - Drive modernization and migration of existing native applications to Flutter/cross-platform architecture where appropriate. API & System Integration - Design and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services with mobile applications. - Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT. - Handle API failures, network interruptions, retries, caching, and offline scenarios. - Integrate third-party SDKs, payment gateways, analytics, push notifications, maps, and other mobile services. - Work closely with backend and integration teams to define API contracts and integration requirements. Performance & Security - Optimize application performance, memory utilization, battery consumption, and application startup time. - Implement effective local storage, caching, and offline data management strategies. - Identify and resolve application crashes, performance bottlenecks, and production issues. - Implement mobile application security best practices including secure storage, encryption, certificate pinning, and secure API communication. - Ensure applications comply with organizational security, privacy, and data protection standards. Testing & Deployment - Implement unit, integration, and UI testing for mobile applications. - Work with QA teams to define mobile testing strategies across devices and operating systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve defects across development, testing, and production environments. - Manage application builds and releases through Google Play Store and Apple App Store. - Support application versioning, release management, and production deployments. CI/CD & DevOps - Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile application build and deployment. - Work with tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Fastlane, or equivalent. - Automate application builds, testing, signing, and deployment processes. - Manage environment-specific configurations and secure application secrets. - Implement quality gates and automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
