Senior Consultant | Financial Services | Hyderabad | Finance Transformation | Finance Strategy • Job requisition ID : 109926  • Location: Hyderabad • Entity: Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP  The team Enterprise technology must do much more than keep the wheels turning; it is the engine that drives functional excellence and the enabler of innovation and long-term growth. Learn more about ET&P Your work profile - Involved in finance transformation work as a Finance Change BA (BRD, FRD, UAT etc.) having strong experience in either SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) or Agile. - Document business requirements, clearly by articulating assumptions, interpretations, non-functional and data requirements for large scale transformation programme. - Experience in preparation of Test Cases and performing Testing that includes Unit Testing, System Integration Testing and UAT Testing - Knowledge of SQL, Python, R would be an added advantage. - Excellent written and communication skills including preparation and presentation of verbal and written reports, presentations, and recommendations. Key skills required - Experience on preparation on Standalone and consolidated financial statements under IFRS or local GAAP. - Strong experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements monthly, including income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows. - Strong experience in preparation of detailed accounting memos, presentations, and commentaries to explain significant variances by collaborating closely with business stakeholders. - Experience in performing daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations across subledger, general ledger, and upstream systems to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. - Conduct balance sheet substantiation, including suspense account reviews, bank reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations, ensuring integrity and compliance with internal policies. - Create and manage the preparation of weekly and monthly reports to support departmental and business needs. - Work closely with front office, risk, and operations teams to resolve breaks and ensure complete booking of transactions. - Strong experience in finance transformation programs (e.g., ERP implementations, system migrations, automation initiatives). - Strong experience in performing controls testing, design and implementation testing, operating effectiveness testing for various finance processes. - Education: Any UG/PG
