Consultant | SAP Compliance - All SAP modules | Hyderabad | SAP | DSA Practice • Job requisition ID : 108329  • Location: Hyderabad • Entity: Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP  Experience: 3+ Years Location: Hyderabad (Office-Based) Your work profile - Manage commercial invoices, shipping documentation, and trade compliance records to ensure adherence to international trade regulations and delivery timelines. - Coordinate customs clearance activities and resolve import/export related issues across multiple geographies. - Administer ATA Carnets, temporary import/export procedures, and related global trade compliance requirements. - Review, validate, and approve commercial invoices, packing lists, Shipper's Letters of Instruction (SLI), export declarations, and other shipping documentation. - Analyze and resolve complex trade compliance issues related to tariff classification, country of origin determination, duties, taxes, and regulatory requirements. - Monitor shipment status, order backlogs, and compliance exceptions, initiating corrective actions to ensure operational efficiency and on-time delivery. - Conduct compliance analysis for new markets and provide recommendations based on evolving international trade regulations. - Maintain compliance dashboards, operational reports, and key performance metrics to support decision-making and process improvement initiatives. - Communicate trade compliance requirements effectively to internal and external stakeholders. - Collaborate with logistics, procurement, legal, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of global trade operations. - Support process optimization initiatives aimed at improving compliance, reducing shipment delays, and enhancing supply chain performance. - Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, logistics providers, customs brokers, and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - International Trade Compliance - Import & Export Operations - Customs Clearance Procedures - Forward Logistics, Reverse Logistics & Third-Party Logistics (3PL) - Commercial Invoice Management - Packing Lists & Shipping Documentation - Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI) - ATA Carnets & Temporary Importation Procedures - Tariff Classification - Duties & Tax Assessment - Country of Origin Determination - Global Shipping Regulations - Trade Documentation Management - Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management - Supply Chain & Logistics Operations - FedEx Ship Manager - DHL Import/Export Portals - Manufacturing Documentation (BOM, Engineering Drawings) - PLM Systems - Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Calendar, Gmail) - Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills - Stakeholder & Vendor Management - Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills   Education - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field. - Professional certifications in International Trade, Customs Compliance, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage. Preferred Skills - Knowledge of global trade regulations and international customs frameworks. - Understanding of Dangerous Goods regulations and shipment handling requirements. - Familiarity with import/export certifications such as Country of Origin Certificates and Declarations of Conformity. - Experience supporting multinational logistics and supply chain operations. - Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting capabilities. - Experience working with cross-functional global teams and international stakeholders. - Exposure to compliance reporting, process automation, and logistics optimization initiatives.
