Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the applications meet the required specifications. The position demands proactive problem-solving and continuous engagement with different teams to align efforts and deliver high-quality solutions. The engineer acts as the central point of contact, managing priorities and driving the project forward with a focus on innovation and efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

- Responsible for team decisions.

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project timelines.

- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language).

- Good To Have Skills: Experience with AWS Administration.

- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

- Experience with debugging, testing, and performance tuning of applications.

- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Python (Programming Language).

- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI location.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
