Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical aspects and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands proactive engagement with various stakeholders to ensure that solutions are effectively implemented and aligned with project goals. The engineer will coordinate efforts across teams, troubleshoot challenges, and continuously refine application performance to meet evolving requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.

- Document technical designs and configurations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.

- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills.

- Continuously monitor application performance and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle CC&B Technical Architecture, Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM).

- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM).

- Strong understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns related to Oracle CC&B.

- Experience in configuring and customizing Oracle CC&B applications to meet business requirements.

- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions within Oracle CC&B environments.

- Familiarity with integration techniques and middleware tools used in Oracle Utilities applications.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle CC&B Technical Architecture.

- This position is based at NGDC1A - NON-STPI.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
