Summary:

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet required standards. Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments, creating proof of architecture models to evaluate the feasibility, security, and performance of the proposed designs. This position requires a hands-on approach to developing robust cloud applications that support organizational needs and enhance operational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of cloud solutions with existing systems.

- Continuously monitor and optimize deployed cloud environments for performance and security.

- Document architecture designs and deployment processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.

- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in cloud platform tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Databricks.

- Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.

- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.

- Ability to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud architectures.

- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for cloud environment management.

- Knowledge of performance testing and monitoring techniques for cloud applications.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Databricks.

- This position is based at our Kolkata office.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
