We are seeking an experienced Aero Engine Technical Authors / Competent Engineers to manage technical variance responses, documentation, and compliance for aero-engine systems. This role requires strong engineering judgment, stakeholder engagement, and expertise in technical publications and safety/reliability standards.

Manage and deliver Technical Variance responses and outputs within defined cost, quality, and timelines.

Perform technical execution and approve documentation as a Competent Author.

Analyze technical data and recommend solutions, including technical publication changes.

Ensure compliance with aerospace documentation standards and safety/reliability requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external customers to ensure clarity and accuracy.

Exercise engineering judgment to identify Safety, Reliability, and Cost issues and provide solutions.

Strong knowledge of Aero Engine modules, parts, and terminology.

Expertise in technical documentation standards (e.g., S1000D, AS9100).

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical publications.

Familiarity with DFMEA / PFMEA, safety analysis, and reliability engineering.

Excellent communication and networking skills for stakeholder engagement.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline.

Experience: 5–14 years in aero-engine technical documentation or engineering roles.

Hands-on experience in technical variance management, documentation, and compliance.

Certifications in AS9100, S1000D, or Reliability Engineering are a plus.

Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
