Seeking a skilled professional with experience in Product Teardown, Should Costing, VAVE, benchmarking and cost optimization initiatives for electromechanical components in automotive or energy equipment products. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to drive product value and supply chain efficiency.
Perform Product Teardown & Should-cost analysis for Automotive / Energy equipments & Tool/ Dies/Mold Costing etc.
· Lead VAVE workshops to identify cost-saving opportunities
· Collaborate with design, sourcing, and suppliers to optimize product cost
· Support new product development with early cost estimation
· Analyze supplier quotes and manufacturing processes for cost validation
· Drive supply chain cost reduction and localization strategies
B.E./B. Tech in Mechanicalor Industrial Engineering
· 3–8 years in cost engineering, preferably in automotive, Medical or energy domains
· Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and manufacturing processes
· Experience in costing of mechanical parts & assemblies involving stamping, injection molding, die casting, forging, machining and secondary finishing processes etc...
· Experience with VAVE, cost modeling tools, and supplier negotiations
· Familiarity working on COTS tools like Siemens TcPCM, aPriori, SEER etc...
