Your Work Profile

The Senior Java AWS Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native applications for the Energy sector using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS technologies. The role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performing microservices, leveraging modern DevOps practices, and ensuring code quality through automated testing and governance frameworks. The candidate will collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions that support digital transformation initiatives.

Key Skills Required

•5–10 years of professional software development experience.

•Strong expertise in Java (up to Java 25) and Spring Boot framework.

•Mandatory hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.

•Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.

•Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture principles.

•Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

•Hands-on experience with SonarQube for code quality, security analysis, and technical debt management.

•Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

•Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, monitoring, and performance optimization.

•Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

•Strong verbal and written communication skills.

•Ability to work effectively within Agile and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

•Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

•Experience working within the Energy, Utilities, Sustainability, or Smart Infrastructure domain.

•Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging frameworks.

•Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

•Exposure to AWS serverless technologies and managed services.

•Relevant AWS or Java certifications are preferred.

•Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
