Seeking an experienced Ignition SCADA SME to lead design, implementation, and migration of large-scale SCADA systems to an Ignition + AutoSol-based architecture for enterprise oil & gas operations. The role will drive standardization, scalability, and modernization across multi-asset environments.
• Design and implement Ignition-based SCADA platform for real-time monitoring, control, and visualization
• Lead migration from legacy SCADA systems (CygNet/Wonderware) to Ignition
• Define and implement SCADA architecture (centralized OT-hosted, scalable, secure)
• Configure Ignition gateways, Perspective UI, UDT frameworks, and tag models
• Integrate AutoSol (ACM/eACM) for field data acquisition from PLCs/RTUs
• Design and manage data pipelines (OPC UA, MQTT, REST, Kafka) for OT/IT integration
• Develop HMI screens, reusable templates, and high-performance UI aligned to ISA-101
• Implement alarm management (ISA-18.2 compliant) with escalation workflows and notifications
• Support historization, trending, and enterprise integration (PI, FSM, analytics systems)
• Establish naming standards, UDT governance, and data quality frameworks
• Drive CI/CD, Dev/Test/Prod separation, and configuration governance
• Participate in testing (FAT, SAT), cutover planning, and hypercare support
Core SCADA & Ignition
• Strong experience in Ignition SCADA (Perspective, Vision, Gateway architecture)
• Expertise in UDT design, tag modeling, scripting (Python/SQL)
• Experience building enterprise-scale SCADA (>1M tags, multi-site)
Communications & Integration
