Your work profile:

1. Technical Accounting & Advisory

Provide guidance on complex accounting matters such as revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments, business combinations, consolidations, and impairment assessments.

Support clients with Ind AS convergence/adoption, accounting policy development, and preparation of technical memos.

Perform accounting impact assessments for M&A, restructuring, carve-outs, IPO readiness, and other capital market transactions.

2. Financial Reporting

Review and prepare financial statements, reporting packages, and disclosures under Ind AS/GAAP.

Support clients with restatement of financials, reporting automation, and close cycle improvements.

Assist in designing and implementing financial reporting processes and controls.

3. Engagement Management

Manage day-to-day project activities, timelines, and deliverables.

Lead small teams, review work performed by associates/analysts, and provide on-the-job coaching.

Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, documentation requirements, and engagement risk protocols.

4. Client Relationship Management

Act as a key point of contact for clients during project delivery.

Understand client business challenges and identify opportunities for value-added advisory support.

Assist managers and partners in preparing proposals, pitches, and business development materials.

5. Audit Interface & Compliance

Coordinate with external auditors on technical positions, supporting schedules, and accounting treatments.

Ensure deliverables comply with relevant Ind AS, IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory frameworks.

Key skills required:

Education: CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.

2-4 years of experience in accounting advisory.

Strong knowledge of Ind AS, transaction accounting, and financial reporting requirements.

Experience handling complex accounting areas and client-facing advisory projects.

Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and accounting ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and technical writing (especially for accounting memos).

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight deadlines.

Leadership qualities and experience supervising junior staff.

High attention to detail and strong documentation discipline.
