Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.

Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web applications and APIs.

Create scalable and reusable automation solutions using Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, and WebdriverIO (WDIO).

Develop and execute automated functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end test suites.

Implement automation frameworks using JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Mocha, and BDD Cucumber.

Design and maintain Page Object Model (POM) based automation frameworks to improve maintainability and scalability.

Develop and execute API automation test cases using REST APIs, Postman, and REST Assured.

Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other DevOps tools.

Analyze test execution results, troubleshoot failures, and improve automation stability by addressing flaky test cases.

Generate and maintain test execution reports using Allure Reporting and other reporting tools.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, story grooming, defect triaging, and retrospectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing is completed within sprint timelines and quality standards.

Perform test data validation and database verification where required.

Leverage AI-assisted tools such as Cursor AI to enhance automation development, code optimization, debugging, and framework maintenance.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to increase automation coverage and testing efficiency.

Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on automation best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in QA Automation and Software Testing.

Proven experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
