Your Role

Coordinate with Oracle Support for hardware replacements, bug fixes, service requests, and resolution of critical production incidents.

Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production outages and performance issues, identifying corrective and preventive actions to minimize recurrence.

Support high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) environments, including administration and monitoring of Oracle Data Guard configurations.

Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and other monitoring tools to proactively monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability.

Develop, maintain, and enhance operational procedures, patching documentation, technical runbooks, and knowledge repositories to support consistent service delivery.

Ensure optimal system reliability, availability, performance, and business continuity for mission-critical Oracle database environments.

Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and application teams to support production systems and drive operational excellence.

Implement proactive monitoring and maintenance activities to reduce downtime and improve platform stability.

Lead troubleshooting efforts across database, operating system, hardware, firmware, storage, and networking layers within ODA environments.

Support compliance, security, and operational best practices by maintaining Oracle-supported software and firmware versions.

Your Profile

9 to 12 years of total IT experience with Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) administration and lifecycle management.

ODA patching and upgrades using ODACLI.

Hardware, firmware, storage, networking, and Oracle Linux troubleshooting.

Oracle RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, and Oracle Database support.

High Availability (HA), Data Guard, and Disaster Recovery (DR) administration.

Production support, incident management, and service reliability improvement.
