We are seeking an experienced Network SME / OSS Principal Consultant with expertise in Telecom Network Architecture, OSS Platforms, and Network Transformation. The role involves leading OSS consulting engagements, driving modernization initiatives, defining target-state architecture, and providing domain leadership across Network Inventory, Service Fulfillment, Service Assurance, and Network Automation. We are looking for professionals with 10–15+ years of Telecom and OSS experience and a strong track record in telecom transformation programs.
Responsibilities
Lead OSS Consulting Engagements and Telecom Transformation Initiatives.
Serve as the primary Network and OSS Subject Matter Expert (SME) for client programs.
Define Target-State Architecture, Operating Models, and OSS Roadmaps.
Provide domain leadership across Network Inventory, Service Fulfillment, Service Assurance, and Network Automation Solutions.
Drive OSS Modernization, Cloud Transformation, and Process Optimization Initiatives.
Conduct Business and Technical Workshops with client stakeholders.
Lead Requirements Discovery, Solution Assessments, Gap Analysis, and recommendations.
Support RFPs, Proposals, Solution Estimations, and Pre-Sales Activities.
Guide delivery teams on Telecom Business Processes, Network Technologies, and OSS Best Practices.
Mentor Architects, Consultants, and Engineering Teams.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Telecom Network Architecture and Operations.
Deep understanding of:
Fiber Networks (FTTx)
Transport / TDM Networks
IP/MPLS Networks
Ethernet Services
Wireless Networks (4G/5G)
Network Topology & Connectivity
Network Planning & Capacity Management
OSS Platforms
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
Netcracker OSS Suite
IBM Netcool
Amdocs OSS
Oracle Communications
Cramer
ServiceNow Telecom Solutions
ESRI GIS Platforms
Service Order Management Platforms
Preferred Skills
Experience with GIS Platforms such as ArcGIS, Smallworld, or Utility Network.
Exposure to Cloud Platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience in Network Automation and Orchestration Platforms.
Knowledge of AIOps and Intelligent Assurance Solutions.
Understanding of Kafka, Microservices, and API-Led Architectures.
Exposure to OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Knowledge of AI/ML Use Cases in Telecom Operations.
Experience in Network Inventory Consolidation and OSS Transformation Programs.
Certifications such as TOGAF, TM Forum, PMP, SAFe, or Cloud Certifications.
