We are seeking a skilled Jira Administrator with 3–5 years of experience to manage, configure, and optimize Jira and Confluence environments.
Key responsibilities include:
Administer and maintain Jira Cloud and Confluence environments, including project setup, workflows, issue types, fields, screens, schemes, and dashboards.
Configure and manage permission schemes, security schemes, notification schemes, and project roles to ensure secure access and compliance.
Customize Jira workflows using conditions, validators, and post-functions to meet business requirements.
Manage users, groups, and access across Jira and Confluence; perform regular audits and provide end-user support and training.
Design, build, and maintain Jira reports, filters, dashboards where applicable.
Implement automation using Jira Automation or ScriptRunner plugin.
Install, configure, and maintain Atlassian Marketplace apps such as ScriptRunner, Zephyr, etc.
Monitor Jira performance, troubleshoot issues, project or site backups.
Support Jira Cloud to Cloud migrations as well as JSD projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, optimize workflows, and continuously improve Jira processes.
Maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, and operational procedures.
Job Requirements:
3–5 years of hands-on experience administering Jira (Cloud or Data Center) and Confluence.
Strong expertise in configuring Jira projects, workflows, schemes, custom fields, screens, permissions, and dashboards.
Proven experience with Jira automation (Automation for Jira / ScriptRunner) and JQL.
Hands-on experience with Atlassian plugins such as ScriptRunner, Zephyr, Insight/Assets, Automation for Jira, and related add-ons.
Exposure to migration projects and large or mid-sized Jira implementations.
Flexible to work in rotational shifts.
Adaptive and Quick learner.
Familiarity with Confluence space administration and permissions.
Basic scripting knowledge.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical Jira solutions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Atlassian certification in Jira Administration is preferred.
Qualification:
Graduate Degree from a Tier 1 / Tier 2 institute.
Experience with Atlassian tools and third party addons.
Identifying Critical and severe requests and able to manage them efficiently.
