Job Description

Novartis Hyderabad is seeking a Data Analyst to collaborate with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making through code-first, scalable solutions. You will design Python-based automations, build data pipelines, and leverage Microsoft Azure and emerging AI capabilities to deliver efficient digital solutions that enhance Finance operational excellence. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automations and data processing solutions. Develop efficient, reusable, and well-documented code for analytics and automation. Write and optimize SQL queries (Oracle, Snowflake) involving multi-table joins. Work with relational and cloud-based databases to ensure data quality and performance. Leverage Microsoft Azure services for data storage, analytics, and integration. Apply AI and machine learning concepts including awareness of LLMs and generative AI. Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to address complex business challenges.

Requirements

2-4 years of relevant experience in data analytics. Proficiency in Python for data analysis (pandas, numpy). Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, Snowflake, or similar). Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure for data storage and analytics. Basic exposure to AI/ML concepts and applied analytics. Alteryx or Dataiku experience is a plus.
