Join PayPal Developer Operations team to design, build, and maintain scalable test environment platforms enabling development teams to provision production-like environments on demand. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies on GCP. (Sourced from Indeed, March 2026)

Responsibilities

Build and maintain on-demand test environment platforms for development teams. Implement ephemeral environment workflows tied to pull requests and CI/CD events. Write and maintain environment-as-code definitions using Terraform or Pulumi. Manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes on GKE. Work with GCP cloud services: GKE, Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, Cloud Run. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Cloud Build. Set up observability for test environments using Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.

Requirements

1-3 years in software development, DevOps, or infrastructure automation. Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or related field. Hands-on experience with Terraform or Pulumi for IaC. Docker and Kubernetes experience including Helm Charts. Practical GCP experience: GKE, Cloud Build, IAM, VPC. CI/CD pipeline experience with GitHub Actions or Jenkins. Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Golang.
