Job Description

Job Summary –

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Scrum Master to support our software development teams in delivering high-quality products using Agile methodologies. . The Scrum Master will work closely with QA, development, and product teams to ensure smooth sprint execution, Scrum Master will act as a servant leader, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring continuous improvement across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Must have:

Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies:

Sprint Planning

Daily Stand-ups

Sprint Reviews

Sprint Retrospectives

Guide and coach the team on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and values

Remove obstacles or impediments that impact the team’s progress

Work closely with the Product Owner to manage and prioritize the product backlog

Ensure clear communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams

Track and report project progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.)

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance

Promote self-organization and accountability within the team

Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables

Help teams adopt Agile tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Proven experience as a Scrum Master in software development projects

Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)

Scrum certification preferred (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, etc.)

Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello)

Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills

Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities

Ability to work with distributed and cross-functional team

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in scaled Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS)

Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Technical background or prior development experience (desired but not mandatory)
