Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced and driven Senior Automation Engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps team. The ideal candidate will bring 10–12 years of strong experience in infrastructure automation, cloud engineering, and DevOps practices, with deep expertise in Crossplane, Kubernetes, Ansible, and CI/CD automation.

In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and resilient automation frameworks across cloud environments. You will also play a key role in driving best practices, mentoring team members, and contributing to strategic cloud initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, and infrastructure automation.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Crossplane and Kubernetes-based infrastructure provisioning.

• Advanced proficiency in Ansible for large-scale automation and configuration management.

• Deep experience in GitHub Actions (or similar CI/CD tools) for building enterprise-grade pipelines.

• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools.

• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and cloud-native architecture.

• Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).

• Solid experience in cloud security, compliance, and DevOps best practices.

• Proven ability to lead initiatives, mentor engineers, and influence technical decisions.

• You will explore the alternatives to the recommended solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, information available in public domains, vendor evaluation information, etc. and build POCs

• You will create requirement specifications from the business needs, define the to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements.

• You will support configuring solution requirements on the products; understand if any issues, diagnose the root-cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify and shortlist solution alternatives

• You will also contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.
