Your work

Prepare, review and submit regulatory returns in accordance with RBI guidelines and prescribed timelines.

Interpret regulatory circulars, notifications and reporting requirements, and assess their impact on existing reporting processes.

Coordinate with Finance, Risk, Operations, Business and Technology teams to gather, validate and reconcile data required for regulatory reporting.

Perform data quality checks, reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure completeness and accuracy of submissions.

Support implementation of new regulatory requirements and changes to existing reporting processes.

Maintain documentation, reporting procedures and audit trails for regulatory submissions.

Liaise with internal and external auditors and regulatory authorities during reviews and inspections.

Identify opportunities to automate and enhance regulatory reporting processes and controls.

Key skills required: 

CA/MBA/PGDM or equivalent qualification.

3–8 years of experience in regulatory reporting within a bank, NBFC or consulting firm.

Strong understanding of RBI regulatory reporting framework and applicable banking regulations.

Experience with data analysis and reconciliation using Excel; knowledge of SQL, Power BI or reporting tools is an added advantage.
